Our practices are guided by the DPDP Act and applicable law.

For the purposes of this Policy:

  • “Personal Data” means any data about an individual who is identifiable by or in relation to such data.
  • “Processing” means the collection, storage, use, disclosure, or transfer of personal data.
  • “Data Principal” means the individual to whom the personal data relates.
  • “Data Fiduciary” means eACCESS TELEMEDICS PRIVATE LIMITED.
  • “Child” means a person who has not completed 18 years of age.
  • “Sensitive Personal Data” includes financial, biometric, or health data, if collected.

We collect only personal data necessary to provide and improve eACCESS TELEMEDICS  services, including:

  • Account & Identity: name, date of birth, username, email, phone number, profile photo, bio.
  • Creator & Content Data: videos you upload, titles, captions, tags, location metadata if provided, device and app logs.
  • Usage & Analytics: device identifiers, app usage, IP address, geolocation (coarse) for analytics and fraud prevention.
  • Communications: messages to support, dispute notes, consent submissions and communications with third-party sponsors.
  • Children’s Data: limited baseline info when parental consent is provided (see Child Safety Policy).

We do not collect more sensitive data than required and will not process any special category personal data unless you expressly consent and law permits.

All personal data is processed either on the basis of:

  • Consent from the Data Principal
  • Legitimate uses permitted under Section 7 of the DPDP Act, such as the provision of services requested by the user or compliance with a legal obligation.

We process personal data to:

  • Provide the platform and features (creating account, facility onboarding).
  • Process requests and setting up, but not limited to, remote ICU, OPD consultations, analytical lab testing etc.
  • Prevent fraud, abuse and protect the integrity of users.
  • Comply with legal obligations (e.g., reporting under POCSO).
  • Improve services via analytics; send service announcements and promotional communications (subject to your opt-in/opt-out choices).
  • Enforce terms and investigate abuses or disputes.

We may share personal data with:

  • Core Service providers: only data necessary to fulfil the quality commitment and ensuring smooth delivery of promised services.
  •  Ancillary service providers: payment processors, cloud hosts, analytics, moderation vendors, KYC/identity verification. Data-processing agreements are used.
  • Law enforcement / regulators when legally required (including to report child sexual abuse as required under POCSO).

We do not sell personal data to third parties.

If data is transferred outside India (e.g., cloud hosting or analytics), we will use safeguards required by law (such as contractual clauses or approved safeguards) and inform you accordingly.

We retain data as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above (account active period+a reasonable retention for disputes, fraud prevention, tax and legal compliance).
 Examples include:

  • Profile and content data: retained for the duration of your account.
  • Transaction and payout data: retained up to 8 years for accounting, audit, and tax obligations.

Specific retention periods are documented internally and available on request.

As a Data Principal, you have the right to:

  • Access your personal data.
  • Correct or update inaccurate data.
  • Erase or restrict processing where permitted by law.
  • Port data in a machine-readable format.
  • Withdraw consent (without affecting pre-withdrawal lawful processing).
  • Lodge a grievance with our Grievance Officer (see Section 1.11) and, if unsatisfied, approach the Data Protection Board of India as permitted under the DPDP Act.

We implement reasonable administrative, physical, and technical safeguards including encryption (at rest and in transit), access controls and logging. Security measures are periodically reviewed and improved.

In the event of a personal data breach likely to cause significant harm, eAccess Telemedics will promptly notify the Data Protection Board of India and affected users as required under the DPDP Act.

We have special protections for children (see Child Safety Policy).
Parental consent is required for users below 18 years (and eAccess Telemedics may set a minimum age of 13 years).

We do not knowingly collect personal data of children younger than the minimum age.

We use cookies, local storage, and device identifiers for session management, analytics, and personalization.

Our grievance mechanism complies with the DPDP Act and IT (Intermediary Guidelines & Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.

We may update this Policy from time to time.
Material changes will be notified via in-app notification or email prior to implementation.

Our platform may contain links to or integrate with third-party websites, brand pages, or sponsored content. These third parties operate under their own privacy policies. eAccess Telemedics is not responsible for their data practices and encourages users to review their privacy policies independently.

eAccess Telemedics may use automated systems, including AI-based moderation, to recommend content, detect policy violations, or rank contest entries.
Such processing does not result in legal or similarly significant effects for users.
